Watership Down

Watership Down - Richard Adams Watership Down is about a colony of rabbits who are forced to leave their native warren due to danger from construction. They are led by intrepid brothers Hazel and Fiver. Main themes are courage and trust. On their way to a new home and new families, they meet with a number of difficulties, including a warren that is almost a rabbit farm, and an opposing warren led by the tyrannical General Woundwart. They also meet a number of friends along the way, among them Strawberry, a rabbit from the warren of the snares, and Kehaar, a friendly seagull who aids them in finding wives. The book ends happily, with the new warren established, and families begun. This review is the sole property of its author.
